DAE Planner

AI Back Office for the Trades

Every other field service company wants you opening another dashboard. DAE Planner bets the other way: build an employee so good you never have to. Val answers the phone, plans the routes, texts every customer, and logs the job herself. The owner runs the whole business from one iMessage thread.

  • Not a dashboard you have to remember to open. An AI agent you run from one iMessage thread.
  • The dashboard is really good. But the bet is you'll rarely need to open it.
  • Every job gets logged as a byproduct of Val doing the work, not typed in after the fact.
  • The goal was never better software. It's an employee good enough the owner never has to be one.

A customer calls in with a broken AC

This is a made-up call that runs right in your browser, but every step matches what DAE Planner actually does: answer, diagnose, schedule, update records, assign, and sync the invoice to QuickBooks. Watch the CRM fill itself in.

How owners actually use it

The business runs itself. You just text it.

The mission was never to build another piece of software for owners to learn. The trades are already drowning in apps, logins, and dashboards nobody has time for. I wanted the opposite: get owners out of software entirely and give them something better, a rockstar back-office manager who happens to run on AI.

That’s Val. This is a real iMessage conversation. No separate app, no chatbot stuck on a website, just the Messages app already on the owner’s phone. She logs every job herself, so the mistakes that come from manual entry just don’t happen. And she does a lot more than scheduling. Ask her to change a tech’s pay rate and she’ll update payroll on the spot.

The whole point is that owners get to do what they’re actually good at, the work in the field, instead of sitting in an office learning another piece of software. Prefer to look something up yourself? The dashboard’s right there. That’s a choice, not a fallback.

What it actually does

The full loop, without a human in it

Answers every call

No missed calls, no voicemail. The AI picks up and handles the conversation naturally.

Plans the route

Booked jobs, hot leads, and follow-ups get built into each tech's day before they leave the house.

Logs the job itself

A GPS timestamp, one tap for the outcome, and an optional voice note. The pipeline updates while the tech works, not after.

Texts the customer, start to finish

Booking confirmation, day-before reminder, 'tech's on the way,' thank-you, and review ask, all sent automatically and written like a person would write them.

Recovers missed visits

A no-show doesn't sit in a queue. Val texts the customer to reschedule the same day.

Builds good, better, best quotes

Turns the tech's on-site diagnosis into three priced options on the spot. No guessing what to charge, no calling the office.

Syncs it all into QuickBooks

Every invoice and payment goes straight to QuickBooks, so the accountant already has what they need. No exports.

Chases reviews itself

Sends the ask a few hours after the job, while the visit is still fresh. Nobody has to remember to do it.

Monitors inventory across trucks

Watches stock on every truck and at the warehouse, and flags it the moment key supplies run low.
